Tea Tree

When frozen green tea is placed on the table, tea branches grow from it. Flowers bloom from tea branches around the end of autumn. As you move the frozen green tea, the tea branches wither and grow again in a new place.
When the frozen tea disappears, the tea branches also wither and disappear.

Butterflies are born from the tea branches. These butterflies move and fly through the artwork Flowers Bloom in an Infinite Universe inside a Teacup, in which flowers bloom inside people’s teacups.

The work is rendered in real time by a computer program; it is not a prerecorded video. The artwork is influenced by the viewers, as their behavior causes continual change and transformation. Each moment of the artwork can never be seen again and previous states will never be repeated.
