teamLab is Opening its First “Immersive Club Experience” in Shanghai

Digital art collective teamLab, who specialize in Instagram-friendly light installations and interactive exhibits, have revealed preliminary details behind their forthcoming immersive club experience “Master,” a brand new nightlife project that will set up shop in Shanghai. The project comes after the Japanese collective’s collaboration with Chinese company NetEase’s electronic music brand, Fever. Together, they put on a series of “immersive electronic music experiences” at teamLab’s dedicated space in Shanghai, featuring a series of EDM DJs and producers among the lights at the end of July and beginning of August. TEAMLAB IS COMING TO SEOUL'S DONGDAEMUN DESIGN PLAZA THIS YEAR

teamLab is set to launch a brand new exhibition dubbed teamLab: LIFE at Seoul‘s Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), a multi-cultural complex designed by Zaha Hadid. According to a press release, the digital art installation will feature immersive pieces that explore the beauty of the continuity of life. In photos: this forested park in Saitama prefecture is getting a new teamLab exhibition

As if the manga museum and anime hotel weren’t enough reason to visit the new Tokorozawa Sakura Town in Saitama prefecture, the area will also be home to a brand new digital art exhibition from teamLab.
