In praise of short road trips
After lunch, we cut through the mountains, golden light flickering in the shady cool of the redwood trees, and descended into the office parks and strip malls of Silicon Valley. Housed in a former car dealership in Menlo Park, the teamLAB exhibit at Pace Art + Technology gallery was a futuristic contrast to the ancient pleasures along the coast.

シンガポール、セミナーと商談会を開催、国交50周年受け盛況
シンガポール政府観光局（STB）は6月16日に東京、17日に大阪で「シンガポール トラベルマート＆セミナー」を開催した。昨年の独立50周年に続く、日本・シンガポール外交樹立50周年の今年はこの10年で最大規模となり、商談会には25社・団体が出展。セミナーは「レジャー」「MICE」「教育旅行」の3テーマを用意し、午後と夕方の2部制で開催した東京会場は約350名、大阪会場は約150名の計約500名が参加した。特に東京会場ではレジャーセミナーを1回分追加し、計3回実施したほど盛況となった。（Excerpt from the text）

Radar: Rainbow connection for Pride
—T.B.The art At Menlo Park’s Pace Gallery, the ultra-popular, techno-based exhibition “Living Digital Space and Future Parks” (more than 60,000 visitors since February) is also getting in the groove. An interactive piece called “Crystal Universe” contains 50,000 LED lights that form a tunnel where stars “explode.” The Japanese artists who made the piece are programming the lights to flash rainbow colors during Pride weekend.
