9 new museums shaping Asia’s cultural scene

teamLab opened its largest museum in Japan in October 2025. teamLab Planets Welcomes a Total of 10 Million Visitors: Reaching 5 Million International Visitors, and Becoming a Primary Destination in Tokyo.

teamLab Planets welcomed over 10 million visitors from more than 211 countries and regions as of October 12 September 22, 2025, just 7 years and 3 months after opening.*1 Of the total visitors, approximately 5 million were international tourists. TeamLab Borderless Draws 1.55 Million With Immersive Art

TeamLab Borderless, which opened at the large complex Azabudai Hills in Tokyo, Japan, last February, has marked its first anniversary. Annual visitors reached 1.55 million, with 65% of them being international guests.
