The World Heritage Site of the Tadasu Forest at Shimogamo Shrine.


teamLab’s Digitized Nature art project uses non-material digital technology to transform nature into art without having a physical impact on it.


Tadasu Forest has been turned into an art space with the installations Resonating Forest and Autonomous Resonating Life - Tadasu Forest at Shimogamo Shrine, Floating, Resonating Spheres - Shimogamo Shrine, and others.


Story behind TOKIO INKARAMI's contribution

With the concept of "delivering Japanese beauty and culture to the world," we fuse opposing elements like technology and nature, progress and tradition, or strength and beauty, and cherish the balance between them while we work to create a global beauty culture.

We are now supporting the activities of teamLab, a driving force in the international art scene. We resonate with their conviction that "digital concepts spread beauty."

    By Keihan Line: 12 min walk from Demachiyanagi Station

    By Hankyu Line: Walk 5 min from Kawaramachi Station to Keihan Gion Shijo Station, take the train to Demachiyanagi Station, then walk another 12 min

    By JR Line: Take the Karasuma Line from Kyoto Station to Kuramaguchi Station then walk, or take the train to Kita Oji Station, then change to City Bus.

    By Bus: Take City Bus from Kyoto Station, Kawaramachi Station, or Kita Oji Station.

    Closest Bus Stops: Shin Aoi Bashi Station, Shimogamo Shrine Station, Tadasuno mori Station, Mikage Bashi Station

    Admission Notes

    * Admission will be granted based on crowd size.
    Due to time limitations, there may be cases where visitors who come to the exhibit are unable to enter.
    * No Smoking.
    * Valid ticket is required to enter the exhibition.
    * No parking is available so please take public transportation.
    * No reentry is admitted.
    * Elementary school students and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 20 years or older.

    "تيم لاب" هو عبارة عن مبادرة فنيّة عالمية (تأسست عام 2001)، يتم التعاون فيها بهدف التعمّق في نقاط الالتقاء بين الفن والعلوم والتكنولوجيا والعالم الطبيعي. فعبر الأعمال الفنيّة، تهدف مجموعة من الخبراء ذوي الاختصاصات المختلفة، بمن فيهم فنانين ومبرمجين ومهندسين، وأخصائي رسوم متحركة، وعلماء رياضيات ومهندسين معماريين، إلى استكشاف العلاقة بين الذات والعالم وأشكال جديدة من الإدراك.

    وفي محاولة إلى فهم العالم حولهم، يسعى الناس إلى فصله إلى وحدات مستقلة يتصوّرون حدودًا في ما بينها. ولكن "تيم لاب" يسعى إلى تجاوز هذه الحدود التي تحدّ رؤيتنا ونظرتنا إلى العالم وإلى العلاقة بين الذات والعالم واستمرارية الزمن. فكل شيء قائم في استمرارية بلا حدود، في استمرارية مستدامة وهشّة وخارقة في آن واحد.

    تم عرض أعمال "تيم لاب" حول العالم، بما يشمل نيويورك، لندن، باريس، وادي السيليكون، بكين، و ملبورن ضمن مدن أخرى. متاحف "تيم لاب" ومعارضه الضخمة الدائمة تشمل "تيم لاب بلا حدود" و"كواكب تيم لاب" في طوكيو، و"تيم لاب ماوراء الطبيعة" في ماكاو، و"تيم لاب بلا كتلة" في بكين. مع المزيد من المعارض التي سوف يتم افتتاحها في أبوظبي، هامبورغ، جدة، ويوتريخت.
