チームラボの新作を鑑賞できる個展「teamLab: Transcending Boundaries」が開催
2016年8月9日(火)から9月25日(日)まで、GYREにて「teamLab: Transcending Boundaries」が開催される。“ウルトラテクノロジスト集団”のチームラボによる個展で、新作「Flowers Bloom on People(人に咲く花)」と、「境界のない群蝶」「The Void」のデジタルアート計3作品を展示。GYREは不定休で、会期中の8月22日(月)は休館日となる。入場無料で、時間は11:00〜20:00(入館は閉館30分前まで)。(Excerpt from the text)

鑑賞者参加型の新作デジタルアートも! チームラボが 「teamLab: Transcending Boundaries」を開催。
ウルトラテクノロジスト集団「チームラボ」が、東京・表参道の商業施設「GYRE」で、個展『teamLab: Transcending Boundaries』を開催。新作を含むデジタルアート3作品が展示される。新作となる「Flowers on People」は、空間に入ると鑑賞者の体に花が咲き誇るが、動くといっせいに散っていってしまうというデジタルアート。「境界のない群蝶」は、羽の模様を変容させながら空間の中を舞う群蝶をテーマにした作品。群蝶は同じ空間に展示された他の作品の中を自由に舞い、鑑賞者が触れると死んでいく。(Excerpt from the text)

The debut of a pair of Pace galleries this year in Menlo Park (Pace Art + Technology) and Palo Alto (Pace) could hardly have come at a worse time: Their inaugural shows — featuring teamLab and James Turrell respectively — opened a few months before the spring reopening of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, which totally eclipsed them.
