Opened in 2003, Mori Art Museum (MAM) is the initiative of the property entrepreneurs, Mr Minoru and Mrs Yoshiko Mori. visionaries who have always recognised the importance of a cultural dimension in urban spaces, as well as innovative place making. Louise Bourgeois's massive bronze spider Mamam, commissioned by them, has created a much-loved landmark at the base of the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, which is also home to MAM.
