世界上所有的海洋是连在一起的，所以所有的波浪也是互相串联的。

东亚古典艺术中的波浪往往是由成组的线条来表现的。一系列线条组成的波浪提醒着我们，它们是流动的一部分。而在这些线条之中，波浪就仿佛是生物一般，能让人感受到生命。

事实上，当波浪翻涌而起时，你会感觉到一股强烈的生命绽放的气息，仿佛每一朵波浪里都蕴藏着生命。但波浪崩落消失时，又如花朵凋零般短暂易逝，这时你才会发现原来它们都是海洋的一部分。而那片海与所有的海洋相连，也就是说，世界上所有的波浪都是相连的。
波浪之所以像生命，是因为生命本就像是强大的、翻涌而起的波浪。生命源起于所有连在一起的海洋，是一种从未间断、持续翻涌而起的奇迹般的现象。

波浪是用无数水粒子的连续体来表现的。我们计算了粒子间的相互作用，并模拟了三维空间中水的运动。通过水粒子的轨迹绘制线条，并在三维空间中的波表面上描绘线条。再通过teamLab构想的“超主观空间”将这些立体的线条组切割，不同于通过镜头和透视切割的空间，观赏者的视点不固定，身体也就变得自由。映射着波浪的墙不会成为我们与作品之间的边界面，波浪的艺术空间与人们身体所处的空间相连续。

The debut of a pair of Pace galleries this year in Menlo Park (Pace Art + Technology) and Palo Alto (Pace) could hardly have come at a worse time: Their inaugural shows — featuring teamLab and James Turrell respectively — opened a few months before the spring reopening of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, which totally eclipsed them.
